What is Google Penguin ?

Google Penguin, this word was mention in many article and topic in SEO forum. But many beginner and newbie don't understand what is this. So in this article, I will introduce a little about it. Google Penguin is algorithm in Google search engine. It is the biggest changes of this search engine recent years. Google Penguin was release at 24-April- 2012 with version Penguin 1.0. Because there many sites were spam, using seo black hat, duplicate content(like copy content from other site...), made use of some gap of Google search engine... So Google Penguin was created to resolve these problems. With these target, Google Penguin will help protect copyright about content and rise some websites with good structure and their content.

Google Penguin Update history:

Google Penguin 1: 24/04/2012 effect 3,1%.
Google Penguin 2: 26/05/2012 effect 0,1%.
Google Penguin 3: 05/10/2012 effect 0,3%.
Google Penguin 4(Version Penguin 2.0): 22/05/2013 effect 2,3%.

So to prevent Google reduce your website rank, you should follow some new rules in SEO, and avoid overuse too much SEO algorithm.
